Lourdes Lions Finish Undefeated LAX Season
Our Lady of Lourdes School’s girls’ lacrosse club team finished their season May 9th without a defeat. The school has fielded a lacrosse team for four years, and are the only Catholic parochial school with a girls’ team. The Lions have welcomed girls from other Catholic schools, and count among their number one member who attends the Franciscan School in Raleigh. “The friendship that has developed between this girl and the others on the Lourdes team has been truly heartwarming,” said Pam Mueller, Lourdes Director of Admissions, “and she has developed into an awesome lacrosse player! The girls cannot wait to play together again at Cardinal Gibbons High School.”
